On June 22, 2023, the foundation stone was laid for Piazza Venezia Station , a strategic hub for the new Rome Metro Line C. This ambitious project is located in the heart of the city, in an area of inestimable historical and archaeological value.
In this video, we take you on a journey through an innovative project that will go beyond transportation infrastructure to become a true underground museum hub . Through an underground connection, the station will connect Palazzo Venezia, the Vittoriano, and Trajan's Forum , becoming a meeting point between past and future.

The new Venice Station
Located in an area of exceptional historical and archaeological value, the Piazza Venezia station will serve as a veritable museum hub for a journey through history, providing underground access to the Palazzo Venezia museums, the Vittoriano, and Trajan's Forum.
